Paul Volpeknows He’s Gonna Win His Second WSOP Bracelet

WSOP Bracelet

The Philadelphian professional poker player is delighted to have won his second World Series Of Poker gold bracelet after a bunch of failed attempts the past years. He earned his very first gold bracelet in 2014 and was working so hard to get his second WSOP bracelet but it has been elusive for quite sometime.  Finally, after 2 years he is once again rewarded with the prestigious poker bracelet for winning an event at the 2016 WSOP.

He seems to know his coming victory when he tweeted that he was “gonna win”. According to him, his confidence was so high especially after bagging the $1,500 Dealer’s Choice that he just felt he was going to win. It prompted him to keep tweeting and proclaiming the outcome of his play. His confidence radiates all throughout the game.

Volpe recalled his first time earning the gold bracelet in 2014 when he won the $10,000 No Limit 2-7 Single Draw, beating Daniel Negreanu. He said it was insane because he was heads up with Negreanu. He was nervous that time and the screaming crowd aggravated the situation and got him scared. But this time, the pot was smaller and he was more relaxed.

At the moment, Volpe is ranked 21 in Player of the Year, have a total earnings of about $4.7+ million from live tournaments, in which the $1.3+ million came from WSOP. He considered himself both a no-limit hold’em tournament player and a mixed-game cash player when asked what kind of a poker player he is. Volpe will certainly be someone playing a lot of events. He has become a favorite in most fields as one of the top players in the game.

Would his first win of the summer exciteand motivate him more to go forward? Well, Volpe’s answered that he isn’t really a bracelet chaser and have no bracelet bets so he can let some tournament pass and instead take a day off and play golf. Volpe can take a rest as his position in the WSOP Player of the Year race is getting better and might end up in a higher rank than last year, when he finished seventh. This won’t be the last time Volpe’s name will be heard as WSOP rolls on.
